Getting Started

1. Is there a free trial?

Yes! We offer a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start. You can explore the entire system, add your patients, and test all features before deciding to subscribe.

2. How long does setup take?

You can start using SGsmile within 10 minutes. Create your account, invite your team, and you're ready to go. We also offer free onboarding support to help you migrate data from your existing system.

3. Can I import data from my current system?

Yes! We can help you migrate patient records, appointment history, and treatment data from most common dental software. We support CSV imports and can work with you to ensure a smooth transition at no extra charge.

4. How much does SGsmile cost?

We offer two plans:

  • Starter: $97/month or $931/year (save $233) — Perfect for solo practitioners and small clinics
  • Pro: $297/month or $2,850/year (save $714) — Complete solution for growing clinics

All plans include free support, daily backups, and PDPA compliance.

5. What happens after my trial ends?

You'll see a reminder 3 days before your trial ends. After the trial expires, you'll be prompted to subscribe to continue using SGsmile. Your data is safe and will be restored once you subscribe. No data is lost during the trial period.

6. Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. No long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You'll have access until the end of your current billing period, and you can export all your data before leaving.

7. What is Singpass MyInfo integration?

SGsmile is the only dental software in Singapore with official Singpass MyInfo integration. Patients can auto-fill their registration forms with government-verified data (name, NRIC, address, phone, email) in seconds instead of manually typing everything. This reduces registration time from 5 minutes to 30 seconds and ensures 100% data accuracy.

8. Do you support CHAS claims?

Yes! SGsmile supports CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) for CHAS-approved clinics. Track CHAS patients, apply subsidized pricing automatically, and export claims for submission to the CHAS portal. We also plan to support direct API submission when available.

9. Can patients book appointments online?

Yes! Every clinic gets a unique booking page (e.g., app.sgsmile.com/book/your-clinic) that patients can use to see available time slots and book appointments 24/7. This reduces phone calls and admin work significantly.

10. Do you send appointment reminders?

Yes! The Starter plan includes email reminders. The Pro plan adds SMS and WhatsApp reminders. Automated reminders reduce no-shows and save your front desk staff time.

Security & Compliance

11. Is SGsmile PDPA compliant?

Yes! SGsmile is fully compliant with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). We include built-in consent tracking, data export tools, audit logs, and secure data storage. All patient data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.

12. Where is my data stored?

All data is stored on secure cloud servers in Singapore (AWS Singapore region). We perform daily automatic backups and maintain 99.9% uptime. Your data never leaves Singapore and is subject to Singapore data protection laws.

13. Can I export my data?

Yes! You can export all your data (patients, appointments, treatments, invoices) at any time in CSV or PDF format. Your data is yours, and we make it easy to migrate to another system if needed.

14. What kind of support do you provide?

All plans include email support with 24-hour response time during business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm SGT). Pro plan customers get priority support with faster response times. We also provide free onboarding assistance and a comprehensive user manual.

15. Is training provided?

SGsmile is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. We provide a detailed user manual, video tutorials, and free onboarding support. Most users are up and running within an hour. For clinics with special needs, we can arrange custom training sessions.
